This year at NRHBC, our church family is focusing on Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…”
In focusing on Romans 1:16, our goal is to equip and encourage every member of NRHBC to share the gospel 3 times before the end of the year.
Towards that end, we spent 9 weeks in Sunday Morning Bible Study reading and discussing David Platt’s book, “Radical.” The goal of reading “Radical” was to break our hearts for the lost in our communities and around the world.
The next step towards sharing the gospel 3 times is a focus this summer on Meals@Home. Meals@Home has 2 parts, the first being a request for our church family to invite unchurched friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, etc to the dinner table for spiritual conversations. The second parts is to go hand in hand with the dinner conversations, namely equipping our church family to craft their personal faith stories. (Faith story being a fancy way to say testimony.)
Here is the video shown in all 3 of our morning worship services yesterday about how to craft your personal faith story.
If you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, but haven’t ever crafted your personal faith story, let me encourage you print the listening sheet below to help you develop your story while watching the video.
